FINE ART- STITCHED BETWEEN SOMETHING AND NOTHING SERIES

How do you see yourself with your eyes closed?

Stitched Between Something and Nothing is a series of mixed media art that explores what it means to be a multifaceted human that doesn’t fit into any one mold, the fear and bravery that it takes to create yourself without a model, and the self love that’s required to put in that work.

This series so far includes three finished oil and mixed media on canvas paintings (Stitched 1, Stitched 2, and Stitched 3) with the fourth painting in progress. The overall plan for the series will incorporate 3D and multimedia elements and will center around themes of gender identity, self-creation, personal acceptance, and queer joy.

Stitched 1 was sold at the Falling in Love show and Stitched 2 and 3 are currently hanging in the PictureThis! Grand Opening Show and available for purchase.
